CSIR-NEERI intends to further widen and deepen its Scientific Social Responsibility (SSR) through the "CSIR-NEERI JIGYASA 2.0" project to inculcate scientific temper amongst school children for environment protection. The CSIR-NEERI JIGYASA 2.0 project aims to engage students in designing a solution to an environmental problem, based on their scientific knowledge and the knowledge acquired through student-scientist interaction. It also aims to build the knowledge and skills amongst school children to address complex environmental issues and explore solutions thereupon to ensure the contribution of students towards sustainability and conservation of our natural resources.
