The KRC provides comprehensive information support for R & D programs of the institute through project oriented information packages based on extensive literature search from published, unpublished and electronic resources.

Document Delivery
The NEERI KRC is an established research information center in Environmental Science and Engineering providing access to print and online information resources to the scientists of the institute. Access to the Center's collection is facilitated through OPAC available on the LAN and to online resources through the library website.

The Library has reference information resources such as Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Directories, Handbook etc. readers may contact the reference desk for any assistance in locating information.
Readers may approach the Reference and Membership Desk for information and any assistance in the use of library collection and services. users may contract for computerized services, CD ROM-based search services and Web-based E-Journals. For special information requirements, users may also reach in charges of Readers Services/Serials Division or the Librarian.
The Library maintains a separate Reference Collection consisting of Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Directories, Handbooks, Technical Data, Almanacs, Atlases, Bibliographies, etc. The reference collection is organized in the Reference Section that is attached to the reading room.
Training
The Library is recognized for internship training of Library Science Graduates. The training covers Basic Library Work, Technical Processing, Bibliographic Information Processing and Information Retrieval.
User training includes access methods, information resources in specific subjects, OPAC searches, databases searches and electronic journals access.
Service Hours
The NEERI - Knowledge Resource Center is open on all working days (Monday - Friday) from 9.30 AM to 6.00 PM.
